Linking with the Correct Licensing Library

Both dynamic\shared linked libraries and static linked libraries are available for all operating systems.

We recommend using the combined standalone and network (dual mode integrated) library, if possible. This allows your application to request a license either on a standalone computer or from an external License Manager, as it switches on run-time to standalone or network mode, depending on the settings (like the LSHOST environment variable set) made.
